Please join us for our November Members' Meeting Luncheon Presentation. We are pleased to welcome our special guests from the Canton Regional Society of Professional Engineers (CRSPE) as we host Santino Piccoli, Engineering Business Manager of Solmax, presenting 'Striving for a 100-Year Pavement System.'

The Transportation Research Board (TRB) Circular E-C296, published in November 2024, explores the design and construction of pavement foundation systems intended to achieve a service life of up to 100 years. A key theme of the publication is the importance of innovative materials and moisture management in extending pavement performance and durability. This presentation will discuss how hydraulic properties within the pavement structural section influence long-term pavement performance and how an engineered Moisture Management Geotextile can be utilized to improve drainage, reduce moisture-related distress, and extend pavement foundation service life.

Attendees will gain insight into real-world applications through ODOT project case studies, demonstrating the practical benefits of moisture management technologies in transportation infrastructure. This presentation was previously delivered at the 2026 ASHE National Conference in Rockville, MD, and the 2026 Purdue Road School Conference at Purdue University.
